Silverlight, Promise of Evermyre

The Silverlight, Promise of Evermyre was forged deep inside the Falchione Mountains by a society of dwarves called the Nahnos Clan. It is said that it was commissioned by King Bozmun Bluntgrog in order to defeat a horrific dragon that had driven the Nahnos clan underground. The oldest and wisest mages of their society along with the most skilled blacksmiths imbued the sword with the powers of the land itself. It is also said to have a silver glow when it is in the presence of a dragon, and only one of strength and might can wield it. The whereabouts are unknown. Last written record of it had it located in the ancient ruins of the Nahnos dwarves in the mountains, long forgotten.

The Silverlight is a sword forged by the dwarven clan, Nahnos, used to slay dragons. It was split in two in and hidden separately in order to protect any one person from wielding it's unhinged power.

Notes explaining where each half was hidden were entrusted to two dwarvish clans, the Halfgrays and the Granitebrows.

After vanquishing the dragon far from the western slopes, the Nahnos clan decided that its power was too great to be held in one place. Breaking the Silverlight into two and entrusting it to the Granitebrow family, they hid their half of the weapon in a hidden temple in the Xarel Loto Glen. The Halfgray family has hidden their half and has kept their secret separate, ensuring only a unified front can reassemble the power that the Silverlight holds. May the realm forever be rid of the evil that terrorizes our mountains.
